Schuswap School of Carving and Arts Cancelled for 2015
Posted on January 12th, 2015
From Kathy Pheonix...
Hello all. As we bring in the New Year and many of you begin planning/budgeting for this year's activities, we wanted to provide you with ample notice that there will not be a 2015 School. Unfortunately there is the possibility I will need surgery on one or both of my hands and, as a result, I may not be able to continue this year with all the work the Coordinator position entails. No one else on the Board is in a position to step into the Coordinator position and we've therefore, with regret, decided to cancel the 2015 School now, rather than have to do it later.
If all goes well, there will be a School in 2016 - the Sorrento facility is tentatively booked for the week of Sept. 18-23, 2016. So rest up and rejuvenate ... maybe go on a trip this year that, dare I say it (teehee), doesn't involve carving? ... and we hope to see you at the School in 2016.
